The network spread at an alarming pace. We were all plugged into it before we had a chance to react to the sudden change it brought upon society. And we were naïve when we thought only physical connections were to be feared; we were connected like this, as a species and in a non-physical way, long before we invented the network. And now there is no way back, and we can never feel alone ever again.
